WATER AND SEWER MAINTENANCE
The City of Ranier's water system is maintained by Ranier's Public Works Supervisor, Nick Hagen.
Portions of the Ranier town center have a sewer system maintained by the City. The remainder of the City's sewer lines are administered through the East Koochiching County Sewer District.
Please contact the City Office @ 218-286-3311 with issues or concerns. East Koochiching County Sewer District can be contacted at 218-283-9388.
WATER AND SEWER BILLING
The City of Ranier water department billing office is housed in the city office at the Ranier Community Building. Water (and sewer, if applicable) bills for the preceding month's usage are mailed out on the first of following month. Accounts are considered delinquent after the 10th day of the following month. The entire Water System Ordinance #152 can be viewed in the Ordinance section on this website.
Payments can be made by cash, check or automated clearing house withdrawals (ACH). Payments made through ACH require a Direct Debit Authorization to be filed with the City Clerk's office. Attached below.
Questions about water billing and/or new service can be directed to Edith Jenkinson, Deputy City Clerk.
